We are happy to announce the 6th specialised seminar of the International Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor (RaAM), which will take place on 17-19 May 2017 in Odense, Denmark. The theme of this seminar is Ecological Cognition and Metaphor.

Extended CfP RaAM-endorsed event ‘Look both ways’

From 30 March until 1 April, 2017, the VU Amsterdam teacher trainer’s institute, in collaboration with the Metaphor Lab Amsterdam, will organize a conference on ‘Look both ways: Metaphor and Narrative in Education’. The deadline for submitting abstracts is now 31 October 2016. This conference is endorsed by RaAM.

New RaAM-endorsed event in Zagreb, Croatia

From 4-7 January 2017, the Institute of Croatian Language and Linguistics and the Croatian Science Foundation will host a 4-day training workshop on Analyzing Metaphor in Discourse. This workshop is endorsed by RaAM.
