The Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor
On 26 June 2014, the Second Workshop on Metaphor in Natural Language Processing will take place in Baltimore, MD, USA. This is a RaAM-endorsed event. The Call for Papers is open until 25 March. Find out more information here, or visit the workshop’s website directly.
On 14 February 2014, Lancaster University, in collaboration with RaAM, will host a one-day symposium on metaphor and health communication.
Speakers are Jonathan Charteris-Black, Paul Dempster, Nekya Koteyko, Brigitte Nerlich, Gabriella Rundblad, David Southall and Bella Vivat, as well as Veronika Koller and Elena Semino.
